Dr. G.D. Pol Foundation, earlier known as Yerala Medical Trust and Research Centre was registered in the year 1989 under the Bombay Public Trust Act of 1950. The prime objective of the trust is to provide quality education to students in the field of medicine, management and information technology.

The state of the art facilities, available at various medical colleges of the trust, are being liberally offered to needy and underprivileged people in and around the community. The Faculty of Medicine provides free medical treatment, generously to needy members of the society.
