YMT College of Management is a member of the National Entrepreneurship Network, a nationwide organization that works with academic institutes to help them build world class, high impact entrepreneurship programs on campuses. The e-cell, named as Gen E, stands for Developing, Nurturing and Accelerating Entrepreneurship. The e-cell of YMT aims to be the breeding ground for the new Generation entrepreneurs with stress on techno-commercial aspects based on the needs of the industry. Among the various activities planned as part of the e-cell are: inviting entrepreneurs to share their experiences with the students, holding B-Plan competitions, idea generation workshops, movie screenings etc
