• An enlightening workshop on "Android" technology and its applications was delivered by Mr.Yashwant Kulkarni ,Developer, Inbotics on 20-07-12.
• An informative Workshop on "Professional Skill Development " was given by an expert from 'Chopras' on how to handle interview, overall personality development and grooming on 29-08-12 to improve the soft skills of the students.
• Workshop on "PHP" was conveyed by Mr.Anil Singh ,Developer,Creative Vigour ,on 29-08-2012 which gave a descriptive insight of the PHP technology .
• On 30-08-2012 an enthralling workshop on "Dot Net " and its importance in today's market was addressed by an expert trainer Mr.Yogesh Pagare from Seed Infotech .
• An informative workshop on Java which dealt with "Ruby on Rails" ,a latest development in Java Programming was given by Ms.Arpana Patil,Software Developer,Aark Solutions on 31-08-12.
• An exciting workshop was delivered on "Android" and its applications was provided by an expert trainer from Seed Infotech on 6-9-12.
• To enhance the business problem solving skills of students a "Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification " workshop was conducted by Mr.Sanjib Ghoshal ,Lead Consultant ,Cape Gemini on 8-09-12 and 15-09-12.
• For students who wish to pursue their career in "Software Testing" a workshop on the same was arranged on 4th week of Sept 2012by a Expert Trainer from Seed Infotech.
• One day workshop on Penetration on Software testing took place on 27th September and following that a test for conducted on Software testing on 6th November 2012 for the same to test the students ability and their understanding . This was also conducted for MCA Sem V students.
• A workshop on Smart ways to AI training was conducted on 1st October 2012 for Final MCA students
• Two days workshop was organized on 3rd and 11th of October 2012 on C++ for I and III semester students of MCA
• Digital Marketing Seminar was organized for III and V semester students of MCA on 12th October 2012.
• Xed Intellect Aptitude test was conducted for Final year MCA students on 29th August, 12th and 26th September, 17th and 31st October 2012 respectively
• One day workshop was conducted for C++ and OS for professors of MCA Department to know the recent trends in the curriculum according to the Credit Based Grading System (CBGS) of University of Mumbai.
• Seed Infotech Conducted a one day workshop on new programming features of C++ Programming
• ERP workshop along with Musical challenges was a one day workshop conducted in March 2013 for professors of MCA department
• There was an Induction Programme for First year Students of MCA as they joined the college on 7th and 8th of August 2012.
• Fresher's party was conducted for First year MCA students by their seniors on 30th August 2012 so as to welcome them to the college
• Credit Based Grading System (CBGS) , one day Workshop was conducted on 24th August 2012 by University of Mumbai for Professors to know the evaluation techniques that was introduced by the University.
• Teacher's Day was celebrated by the students to honor their faculties on 5th September 2012.
• Alumni Meet took place on 6th October 2012 to have a get together of old students
• Xcceleration 2013 (Technical Festival) was organized for 3 days to show their technical talents among other colleges. Around 23 colleges all over Mumbai participated in this festival.
• Farewell party was organized for Final year MCA students by their juniors on 1st April 2013 to give a send off to their seniors.
• Parents Meet took place on 1st September 2012 where all the Parents gathered and the faculties gave the updates of their wards and a feedback form was issued to all the parents to enable them to give their suggestions to the Management.
• Industrial Visit for the students took place for all the three batches of MCA for 8 days where the students had a chance to see many IT companies and get an exposure about them around Delhi, Chandigarh and few other places.
• ERP- Website Development Programme was conducted for 7 days in the months of August, September and October to enable the faculties to have the idea of E-learning process through which the College wants to make all the activities like Student Attendance, Online tests and Assignments to be made online.

Conference

NCMT 2013, the national conference on Management and Technology ,organized by Dr.G.D.Pol Foundation ,Y.M.T College of Management launched a premier conference to disseminate knowledge in the emerging trends and perspectives in Management and Technology.

It provided a forum for delegates to exchange their views & experiences to sustain and grow in modern competitive market. To cover, the entire gamut of Management and Technology, various themes were included. The themes include a global perspective of Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Operations and Information Technology.
