An Industrial Visit was arranged for the 2nd year MMS students.

The journey commenced from Mumbai to Amritsar, visiting Golden Temple & Jallianwala Bagh. From there, it went to Manali, finishing at Chandigarh.

The snow covered mountains in Manali was absolutely exhilarating, adding to it were the ice sports, which the students enjoyed thoroughly.

Completing the tour at Manali, the group visited Milestone Gears at Kalka. A vehicle gear making industry supplying to big car manufacturing organizations.

The students were curious to know about the manufacturing of the gears and how they were sold to the market. All over, the visit to the industry and the locations were very enjoyable and informative for the students.

On receiving the letter of permission from The Hewlett-Packard Company or HP Surendra Nagar, Pant nagar Uttaranchal, YMT College of Management students with one faculty Member went on an industrial visit to the IT Company Provided by I.V. Committee of YMT on 12 th Jan 2013. We all assembled at the Corbett resort at 8 a.m. and left the resort in a A/C bus. We reached the HP Hewlett-Packard Company at 11 o' clock. HP. An engineer in-charge of production receives us at the entrance and gave a brief introduction to the For Their & Other IT Companies. Then he took us around from one section to the next and explained the process involved in the making of Desktop, Laptop, the workers were doing work concentrated.

The visit came to end at 4 p.m. We left the premises 4.30 p.m. It was an informative, interesting, learning and a successful Industry visit. I express thanks to our Director, Dean who permitted us to go on the Industrial Visit.
